Bae Yong-joon, the Hallyu star, has been told to have won in the portrait right suit against a Japanese publisher.

According to Japanese media, Bae Yong-joon sued the Japanese monthly magazine, 'It's KOREAL', for using his picture without any permission.

To this suit, Japanese court favored Bae Yong-joon. The court sentenced, 'Pay Bae Yong-joon 4,000,000 Japanese Yen'.

On the other hand, Bae Yong-joon also finished up the case with a Korean travel agency, which used Bae Yong-joon's name without any permission.

The Storyline of "Secret Garden" about love story revolving around the game world and reality. Kim Joo Won (Hyun Bin) is a chaebol who operates a department store, his arrogant personality changes after he meets a woman named Ra Im (Ha Ji Won).

'Secret Garden (시크릿 가든)' new SBS drama, Philip Lee will play the role of a man head-over-heels in love with Ha Ji-won. Lee, who has played some very colorful roles in the past, including parts in The Legend and A Man’s Story, is back in the spotlight with SBS’s new series 'Secret Garden', written by Eun Sook Kim and directed by Woo Cheol Shin.

Philip Lee as Im Jong Soo, who plays the role of a martial arts director who introduced Hollywood-style martial arts action to the Korean film industry and is Kil Ra Im’s martial arts master. Kil Ra Im is played by Ha Ji Won.

In the series, Lim is Korea’s take on Hugh Jackman, with well-toned musculature and darkly tanned skin, who is proficient in action scenes and completely fluent in English. On top of all that, he is also the CEO of a popular action school. However, Lim keeps it “old school” and real, taking care of his juniors and their welfare but unable to afford a small room somewhere for himself.

Lim has a patriarchal take on society, but for Kil, who is his master’s daughter and his junior in martial arts training, he has a soft spot.

Catalyst Entertainments, Philip Lee’s management agency, explained that “Lim’s fluent command of English and athletic prowess are perfect for Lee’s role. The character’s rough alpha image and his chivalry towards his one love are factors that led to selection of Lee for this role and our high expectations for him.”

Secret Garden is a love story in the form of a fantasy melodrama, written and written by Eun Sook Kim and directed by Woo Chul Shin, the same team that brought us Lover in Paris and On Air. This drama will be air on 13th November.

2011 S/S Seoul Fashion Walk brings out the stars

 

The “2011 S/S Seoul Fashion Walk” was held in SETEC on October 22nd.

A number of celebrities attended the fashion show for designers Song Hye Myung and Han Sang Hyuk, some including CNBlue’s Jung Yonghwa, Lee Jonghyun, Kang Minhyuk, and Jang Geun Suk, Kim Hyun Joong, Lee Chun Hee, No Min Woo, T-Max, Tony An, Yun Jung Hoon, Park Jung Min, Amy Bae Soo Bin, Seo Do Young, Choi Yeo Jin, Jo Hyun Jae, Kim Bum and others.

CNBlue’s Lee Jung Shin, Supernova’s Kwangsu, Jihyuk, and Geonil, participated as runway models for the show, showing off their confident, manly charms with a ‘grunge look.’

Among them, Kim Hyun Joong appeared wearing a clean suit and watched the fashion show from the audience, as netizens commented, “I think I can see why reporters who went to report on the fashion show came back with a bunch of pictures of Kim Hyun Joong. He is so handsome.”

The “2011 S/S Seoul Fashion Walk” will feature 130 different Korean brands until it ends on October 28th.
